Green fruits with white flesh

I was looking for a green-skinned fruit with white flesh to describe a friend wearing green-white striped shirt. I don't think white-skinned green flesh is applicable. Is it? Anyway, guava was ok. So I used it. Sub-first result! Not bad, Google.

Google really is smart. Oh, and that top result there tells me that it's at Mid Valley Megamall's Carrefour, after clicking and scanning using Google's "CACHED" page.

Oooh, my favourite software is running up as 3rd top result in GIMP for this category. Though I personally take that to be #1 because the top 2 were compilations/recommendations, which doesn't really count (to me anyway). Hurrah for GIMP!

I was looking to call someone something nasty and I thought, well, what do they call a male witch? Ah-hah... He's an evil warlock, that one is.

Was looking for a free video hosting site so I could share a video and found these. None of those met my demands really well, I still ended up posting the video on youtube. I figure you can't go wrong with the most popular video site of all time!
I know this is really lame, but I'm really out of googling ideas today.

Failed! Ha ha ha ha... This time google had totally no idea what I want to know.
Dedicated today's search to the couple who got married yesterday, Siew Fen & Andrew and also Aaron and Audrey. :) Sorry Aaron & Audrey because I could not be there. All the bestest (I assure you there's no such word).

Orange Cake Recipes

A friend brought cupcakes to the lab today, and that reminded me of the orange cake ma used to make when we were little. That's strange enough, because I don't remember much from my childhood days. I'm sure ma had made other cakes as well, but strangely, I only remember the orange cake. Wonder when ma will make orange cakes again?
Oh, and sorry I missed posting yesterday. :p

What does sweat contain?

Just home from a running (plus walking) session and wondered.
BTW, according to the winning article from wikipedia (the prize is getting clicked and read by Cookie Monster), sweat contains water, minerals, lactate and urea. Minerals could include (this is the part that requires clicking and reading) sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, iron, chromium, nickel, and lead. It was also mentioned that sweat could contain chlorides and odorants (2-methylphenol & 4-methylphenol). The chlorides probably bleaches your clothes and the odorants... well, we know very well what they cause... LOL~

What can I say? I love bread. BTW, I think (left-right, top-bottom) #5 and #9 are cheats. I like the look of #2, but probably will be much more tempted to eat #8, which sadly, is probably the biggest cheater! The overall winner might be #3, if those are anions on the bread (instead of chocolate rice) which means it's savoury (instead of sweet!).

What fast food meal costs 300 calories?

Ho ho ho... since I burnt at least 300 calories today, let's see what kind of meal I burnt...
This time, result #3 and #4 requires zero clicks. I'm more inclined to take the one in #4: Grilled Chicken Sandwich, as the meal that I'm more likely to burn. Simply, because I'm more likely to eat a Grilled Chicken Sandwich over a Premium Asian Salad with Grilled Chicken.
Hmm... then again, I wonder what's for dinner! LOL~

How much calories did I burn today?

This is a little trickier and it takes two searches. First, I gotta know how much I ran (plus walked).
Then I got to see how much calories walking that distance will burn.
The third top result is more straight to the point. So! I burnt at least 300 calories today. Attention, it's "at least" 300 calories. Why? Because I jogged and walked a total of that distance. Well, actually more than that, because I wasn't doing it on the inner most lane of the running track, which is 400m. I was running on lane 7, which nobody knows how exactly to calculate the distance for each round.

It's the title to a nice song performed by Mariah Carey. It's a pity most beautiful songs nowadays have sad lyrics.

Obviously I was craving cookies, and I was just wondering which cookie is the most popular in the world. It amazes me that it's not a flavour but a brand. Oreo, hmm... wonder why it's not my favourite...

Oh, and I love you guys. I do, really, for putting up with me. Thanks for reading! :)

Google is a verb

What better post to start a new blog than to explain why I started it in the first place? I did it because:
- I stumbled across this blog (not directly by googling though). I thought it was fun and all, so I thought I would give it a try.
- Google is my favourite search engine, because it's darn smart, and because it's my home page.
- Google is a verb.
Starting today then: January 13th, 2010; For each internet-accessible day for as long as I can stand doing it, I will try to share at least one Google search result.
