I'm almost done watching the animated series. Am watching the last 1-hour-32-minute episode of it. Saw the trailer at one of the movies last time, I think it was the Avatar. Anyway, just to remind myself that I'm interested in this movie and am looking forward to it's release.
And what do you know, my favourite smart search engine just told me its release date in Malaysia - 22nd July 2010. So who wants to book me for this movie? LOL~

Google finally prompted me to download and install the Google Chrome Beta for Linux. It's expanding its coverage by giving the increasingly popular OS a chance to use one of the best software. So here's a search dedicated to you. OK, I do admit I'm a Google fanatic. But, hey, they do make some of the best software!

Getting Hardware Information in Ubuntu

I am thinking of upgrading my computer, maybe getting extra RAM. For that, I need to know what motherboard I've got, so I can perform the upgrade. #1 through #3 suggested different tools to check this information out on a machine running Ubuntu. So I clicked into each one of the above to take a look. #2, #3A and #3B all requires installation of some software, while #1 is not very suitable for Xubuntu flavour.
I don't believe that I cannot find a solution already available on my Xubuntu box, so I tried apropos. Wa-la~ apropos suggested lshw. It's so cool, it listed not only what I need, but also a lot of other things that i might find interesting if one day I decided to look into it. :) Mission accomplished, though google's help was not entirely neccessary.

Isn't it amazing? Google doesn't only has some of the most celebrated engineers, it has the most creative designers too! The Olympics. Let the celebration begin! (while I steal away for a week-long-vacation...)
What do people generally do on their last day at work?

Just because! Woo~ My last day today! Well, actually just last day before the vacation. Woohoo~ #2 and #4 lists the DOs and DON'Ts on the last day. Not that I cared, 'cause I came in to work because I had unfinished business that I would like to have done before my vacation. So, pardon me if I don't click and summarize the DOs and DON'Ts.
Again, Yeeha! People, it's my last day! Woohoo~

What's the latest Buzz? It's Google Buzz!
Like it's name, it haunts you like a bee. Personal top non-favourite: Spams your inbox with the stuff you "follow"! What's the deal? Man, you already have a "Buzz" tab that I can click into so I can read all the Buzzes. WTH?! Quoting a friend: "Hamik lai eh?"... Dude, you are going to get A LOT of spamming in your inbox putting that up to be followed. LOL~
Anyway, check out what Molly Wood has to say there... http://news.cnet.com/8301-31322_3-10451428-256.html the link, so you don't have to GOOGLE for it.
Sometimes, the awesome Google disappoints. There, I've said it. So, Apple fanboys, stop denying that your idol can absolutely fail you!

Answer to Question 1: 1989
It took about a year for internet to get graphical...
And then it took the internet about 15 years to get sociable. LOL~~ Just a figure of speech.

Nothing straight forward, #4 looked like it deserves my clicking. So I did, and found that it's 02:00AM on the next day in Malaysia. I wonder if there's a more sophisticated way of asking Google this so it can give me the result up-front. Hmmm...

Google, today, was dedicated to Normal Rockwell.
For those of you who didn't know who the heck Norman Rockwell is, here's a hint:
Oh, and you don't have to type Norman Rockwell today to search Norman Rockwell, you can just click the picture of the boy and the girl sitting within Google to get the search result. He's a very good human painter. At least I think so.

I was looking for a picture to attach for a friend's birthday message. When the result came through, I was torn in between #2 and #12. #8, #10 and #11 are not so bad either... Well, in the end I used #2. Just because Google ranked it higher. LOL~
